God loves you. No matter who you are, where you have been and what you have done – He loves you. Jesus came to earth, died for our sins, rose again, and will come again. This is the foundation of what we believe, what we do, and what we’re about as a church.
We love to gather together in worship and community each Sunday morning at 10:00am, where we can meet together, learn, serve and pray together. Our mid-week discipleship groups are also a great place to meet together. Want to join a DG?
Our neighbours not only need us to show kindness to them in our community, they need to know the reason for the hope that we have (1 Peter 3:15). The more we fix our eyes on the beauty of Jesus & His grace, the more we will grow to have the same hope that He did.
We profess that our Sovereign God owns everything & provides according to His steadfast will and plan. We encourage each other to live lives that are abundantly generous and sacrificial with our time, talent, and treasure. Read more...
Throughout each season, the light of Christ is a beacon of hope in the darkness. Many in our communities are suffering, without true hope or identify. We are always on the look-out for ways to go with Gospel hope to meet the needs of others — bearing one another’s burdens & so fulfil the law of Christ. (Galatians 6:2)
We who have been saved by grace, have hearts that yearn to see God made supreme (glorified) in every space, starting in our own hearts. May we behold Jesus this week, and then become even brighter billboards of hope — for His glory and the joy of our neighbours.
Every week throughout the suburbs of Adelaide, multiple small groups meet to read the Bible, pray, worship and share in community and mission with one another. We call these small groups Discipleship Groups
An informal and relaxed seven-week course. It's for anyone who is interested in hearing more about the meaning of life. You don't need to know anything about the Bible and you won't be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like or you can just sit and listen.
We believe that prayer is foundational for our faith, knowing that God hears and answers our prayers in His perfect grace and timing. Every week we spend time praying for our communities & we will love to pray with you personally.
Every Sunday we hear from the Bible, believing that it is God’s word, and that His word is as powerful and as relevant as ever. You can listen to past sermons here.
Serving is one of the quickest ways to get to know people and it demonstrates that you are more than a spectator in our gospel goals & mission. We have heaps of differnet areas that need volunteers.
CityLight Music exists to write music for the Church to sing to worship God. We aim to be biblically faithful in our lyrical choices and musically creative, imaging our creative God.
We profess that our Sovereign God owns everything and He provides according to His steadfast will and plan. (1 Chronicles 29:10-19, Psalm 24:1-2, Psalm 50:10-11) We encourage those who consider CityLight home to live lives that are abundantly generous and sacrificial. Through giving regularly, joyfully, and sacrificially we remind ourselves, and demonstrate to others the truth of the gospel – that the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most generous gift ever given. When we give as Christ gave, we joyfully become poor for the sake of others, we recognise Christ as supreme in our lives, we place reliance on him to provide our needs, and we can begin to remove the idol of money and consumerism from our hearts.

We know the bad news. The cost of living is going up. We're addicted to our screens and lonelier than ever. We don't know what the future holds for ourselves or the planet. We've been hurt, and we've hurt others. If God is watching, surely He's not very happy. The Bible tells us it's much worse than that. Our badness, and the badness that saturates the whole world, is fatal. Without help, the future is indeed very bleak for all of us.
The good news is that God has a plan to end all the badness without ending us. That plan has a name: Jesus. Jesus is God who became a man. A man without one spot of badness. A man devoted to God and goodness. A man who deeply loves sinners like you and me. Jesus Christ, the God-man, loves you so much that He carried your badness on his shoulders when he was tortured and executed on a Roman cross. He suffered once, for all sinners who believe, to bring you to God. Back to friendship with Him. Back to forever family. Forever happiness.
Jesus didn't stay dead for long. He conquered all badness and death itself when God raised Him up and seated Him at the head of the table in heaven. That's your future if you cling to Jesus
To learn more about Jesus, we'd love to connect, to pray for you, or to meet you in person at one of our Sunday gatherings.
